INTERMEDIATE Spanish, Denver, CO March 7-10, 2012
Intermediate is for anyone who has already taken our Beginning class or has a background in Spanish. Class is $179, but only $149 before March 1. WEDNESDAY and Friday evenings and all day Saturday. Every class is unique. Most participants take 1-2 Beginning classes and 3-4 Intermediate classes before moving on to Advanced classes.
Intermediate Spanish expands the highest frequency vocabulary words into the past tense. This class is more conversational. Once there is a good vocabulary base, participants can begin to have conversations and use their Spanish. The class is still low-stress and fun and no one is required to speak before he or she is ready. No grammar drills or painful memorization. We learn the way a baby learns, replicating the process by which we learned our first languages. Once you take our classes, you'll never want to take a traditional class again. These 15 hours of contact time take place:
Wednesday and Friday from 4:15pm-8:15pm
Saturday from 8am-3pm
Handouts and reading materials are included. Participants are encouraged to follow up with our on-line Intermediate class.
Intermediate classes are WEDNESDAY evening, Friday evening and Saturday during the day so that participants have extra time to read the intermediate level of material. (Beginning classes are THURSDAY, Friday and Saturday, as the reading level and load is considerably easier and done primarily in class.)
