15 hours of exposure to the highest frequency structures and vocabulary words in Spanish presented in a low-stress, fun environment of storytelling and gossiping. Credit is available for Denver Public Schools teachers and JeffCO teachers and is open to ALL.
World Language classroom teachers of any language are welcome to register and attend the class as participants in order to observe the Comprehension-based techniques, but are asked to identify themselves to the teacher at the beginning of the class and sit in designated seating behind the language learners. Observations are common and welcome, but observers are asked not to participate verbally by sharing answers as this raises the Affective Filter of the language learners.
Students in methodology courses or who are currently doing their student teaching are invited to observe at no charge.
